I'm so sick of buying cellular blankets which are rough feeling so i thought i'd ask you ladies if you could recommend some good ones?

Thanks! :flower:

I dont remember the one Alex had being rough but he is buried with it so cant check  - his was from toys r us - Daisy's got a large cot size one from mothercare and its not rough at all :flower: x

I dont know about these, as haven't brought them myself (We have enough blankets, lol) But I saw that ASDA sold some, if you were on a bit of a budget. I think they had white, pink and blue, but like I said, cant comment on the feel.

They werent in the baby clothin section (in my ASDA anyway) but In the home section where they have bedding etc.

we buy all our cellular blankets from mothercare, ive found that if you wash them before using them and add a comforter or softener that usually gets rid of the roughness. I think there about £6.99ish for one.

I got mine from matalan dirt cheap (online) and v v nice x

The Asda ones are 100% cotton if I recall correctly, and aren't too expensive either

I got mine for £2 from B&M. They're fab, did seem a bit stiff when I bought them but I washed them and put it some nice fabric conditioner and now they're lovely xx

i only had mothercare and mamas and papas ones - the m&p were soooo much softer (they usually do a 3 for 2 offer too)

I got mine from Mothercare and it's lovely. It washed up nice and soft after it's first wash. I've also got some really cheap ones from Asda, which have washed up nice but not as soft as I'd like them to be. Oh well, I may need to add loads of fabric conditioner to them when I next wash them all ready for bump.

I bought mine off eBay new and are really nice. Just a note though, be really careful using fabric conditioner on stuff for new LOs.. most have very harsh chemicals which aren't good for tender new baby skin x

My softest one was from John Lewis, and I'll add that one from Tesco felt rougher in comparison.

Thanks ladies! I've bought 2 from John Lewis today and they are soooo soft! xx

Yeh I seen them too not sure how they feel but they were £4 x

Amazon and mothercare, also got one from tesco.
I wash all LOs ones in one go and add comforter as without it they go rough and feel stiff and horrible as it all dries on washing line or clothes horses..

Xx
