Best socks for newborns?

I'm another voter for GAP. I'm amazed by them, they stay on and nice and thick compared to a lot of others I have.

I hate socks on babies (and in general hate them, I prefer barefeet year round ) our LO lived in sleepers in the beginning so his feet were always covered and my favourite pants to use had feet (so like a half sleeper!) they were great as you never had to worry about losing socks or cold feet Carter's makes nice ones...

I like onesies better too but my son grows out of them every two weeks I have to buy the ones without feet because he just grows in length so the onesies would last a few more months width wise but length wise he can't extend his legs anymore.

Agree with Gap although I didn't put LO in socks until he was almost three months. He wore sleepsuits before then. I had some irrational fear of putting him in trousers in case they squeezed his tummy to much

Sock on's!! Amazing things!! could put my socks on her and they'd stay on with sock on's!

Get them from eBay or amazon... Much cheaper.

Sock ons - only sock-product that worked on mine, but she was prem so had sparrow-thin legs and no baby-chubby legs to help keep socks on.

Other than that - hand-knitted bootees with ribbon in the top so I could tighten it up a bit.

Nude feet might have been ideal but, well, did you SEE our summer this year?!

Try rock-a-thigh baby. They're thigh high socks but they are from 0-6 months so may be a little big at first but will be perfect for cold weather. I'm in the uk but they're an American brand. HTH xx
