Hi

Can you tell what is the best time to use a OPK? Again different info on the web. Some say in the morning as you need to not have had a pee for four hours, some say anytime and others say in the evening but have to leave at least hours after your last pee!! I cant hold in my pee for 2 hours, do they think I am a camel!!

Between 10 am and 8pm although I had positives outside of the times but never with fmu. Test twice a day too as a surge can last as short as 10 hours, which I also found with my cycles. I missed the surge for months. Get cheap ones off ebay. x

Heh, I know what you mean! My doctor is the director of the reproductive endocrinology department at Stanford (so you KNOW she's good!), and there they recommend going ahead and testing first thing in the morning since most of us wake up around the same time and are home where it's convenient to test every day. The surge isn't going to come and go in an hour. The reason an afternoon or evening is mentioned is to make sure you take it at the SAME time each day. You don't want to go longer than 24 hours without testing. That's all the morning/afternoon/evening is about. Just pick a time of day, a certain hour, and test at that time. When your LH surge hits, it won't matter what time of day or night.
