Best time to use a clearblue digi opk?.. *think I missed ov*

So I'm on our 8month of ttc baby no3 and it feels like it's never gonna happen this cycle I've decided to use opks so I bought clearblue digi, I read the packaging and it says that I can use fmu which I have been doing but that's abt 7 am each morning, so far I'm cd 15 and still no positive opk I've had ovulation signs for the last two days high open soft cervix with egg white cm but no real temp drop until today and my cervix it's closed and firm with creamy/watery cm but my temp dropped the morning



Have I missed my ov? Is testing at 7am a bit rubbish with opks?

How long are you cycles?? Sometimes women peek later in their cycle so I would just keep going and see if you get a smiley face later on in your cycle

Also - I have read on the forums that sometimes your surge can happen in the afternoon so maybe the fmu may not be the best. But tbh - I use FMU and it has always worked for me.

I came off there evra patch back in May and since then my cycles have varied my shortest being 24days and my longest being 46 would just live to know when I oving.

I just started using the advanced digi OPKs this month too. I use fmu because it's what the directions said to use. I'm on cd 14 and I've gotten 3 days of blinking smileys so far, just waiting for my peak.

I'm using the other type of digis with the lank circle or smiley face, but so fare just blank circles

I wouldn't get worried. Those are the same digi opks I used when I first started ttc after coming off the mirena and always got smileys. I also used fmu and I work night shift so sometimes it would mean holding pee while at work and then testing when I got home 0730ish. I usually didn't get a smiley until cd 16-17. I usually have 30-32 day cycles and after a couple months of getting smileys I quit using them trying to stay relaxed. The last couple months my cycles have gotten a little longer, this past month being 33days and the month before 35days, so I bought another pack to use. And with your cycles varying so much you may O different times, so like I said I wouldnt worry to much , especially cause if this is a longer cycle you probably wouldn't get a smiley till later. Hope you get your smiley soon!!

So I'm starting to think I miss my smiley face, my temp rose again today and if I put 2 days of high temps in it says ov was yesterday and we didn't bd I didn't think it was possible to miss a LH surge ?
