Best Way To Introduce, Treat New Puppy Around Crawling Baby ??

Hiya, im planning on getting a puppy as i have always had dogs but never had a baby & a dog, I know it will be hard work but im 100% prepared to give my all. Im after advice of those who have had a baby and then got a puppy.
Im going to crate train to help with toilet training ect and also have a baby gate so puppy wont be allowed up staires.
Any more advice would be great

Honestly I would wait until LO is older. Puppies communicate with their mouth and don't know better. You can't keep them apart 100% of the time. I don't think it's safe for the baby.
