Just wondered if anyone has had any success using a baby sling whilst bf and if so which one would be best please? I think I am going to get one anyway but would prefer to buy one which would be ok to use while bf if possible.

TIA xx

ive tried with the close baby carrrier but not yet mastered it

my baby is just over 2 weeks old and we are getting along pretty well with the MayaWrap (a ring sling). Alice squirms a lot and is quite fussy when she first starts to feed, but it doesn't take me _too_ long to put her in the sling and get her drinking. She finds it comfortable and it makes me mobile - and no more messing with all those pillows/cushions! I support her head with my arm as she's still small. I find it very comfy and hope to start using it in public as well. (not BFed in public yet!)

I found a ring sling in the early days (up to 6 weeks) best for feeding. I have never quite mastered feeding in a wrap so I don't do it xxx

Thanks ladies, the maya ring sling was the one I have been looking at :)

Ive been bfeeding my 8 month old n a mei-tei really well, he kind of just helps himself in it!!! :D

I have ordered a lovely one from a site called pouchlings, it is a ring sling similar to the maya, can't wait for it to arrive now!

Almost there GL!!! Are you getting excited?? I am soooo excited to give birth again!! :D

I find the ring sling the easiest to bf in. Edward is very long and we can't quite figure out how to do it in any other carrier but his feet can just "hang out" of the end of the sling while he's feeding.
