sit down ready to feed and there is no water nearby! I keep doing it and I sit there panting! There was some of that ironing water nearby and I just kept looking at it thinking ooohhh waterrr!!! Im going to buy some little bottles of water and keep them under the sofa and by the bed - youd think Id have learnt by now!!!!

LOL, yes! Have even eyed up the hot water bottle in the middle of the night once or twice

Ironing water and hot water bottles  I always used the be the same...not quite so bad with the extreme thirst now but the number of times I've brought a drink into the lounge when I'm going to feed Sam, put it down on a table over the other side where I can see it but can't each and forgotten about it until I start feeding! x

I don't get a thirst while feeding. Just now and again I have to down a pint of anything, but not that much really.

I dont really get thirsty either, i do generally try and drink more throughout the day but i dont ever feel that thirsty while im feeding

I have to drink a pint every feed. Even if I have a cuppa tea on the go I still need a pint of water or I'm gaspin!!! I can tell if I havent drank enough water by my boobs.

Oh yes me too they seem softer! How funny! I have to drink a huge massive glass of water during a feed and one in between feeds! I must drink way over 2 litres a day!

Does it effect how much milk LO gets?? My boobs always feel soft...??

I think it does help to drink plenty of water but I've also had days where I've not had chance to drink much (if I've been out and about) and I've still fed her fine.

Dont worry! I just think its common sense that if you're 'losing' fluid, you need to replace it! :)
