Hi everyone - i'm brand spanking new here!! I just got my :bfp: today - whilst at work - for my very first pregancy, All very overwhelming!!

I used one of those digital tests which said i was 2-3 weeks pregnant. However the first day of my last AF was 2nd August and i'm on a 26 day regular cycle. So my question is am i 2-3 weeks or actually nearly 5 weeks?

Am sure to be back with tons more questions!! :winkwink:

You'll be nearly 5 weeks as the 2-3 weeks is from when you concieved but your due date (until you have a scan) goes off the first day of your last period. HTH x

Congrats!
You go by your lmp to work out your dates... so yes you're prob about 5 weeks :)

yep ur right 2-3 really means 4-5 weeks hun good luck :) and congrats

Thank you so much ladies! It's only so I can tell people (or try not to as the case may be - hehe!!!)

You are nearly 5 weeks, My cycle started Aug 2nd too and I have a 28 day cycle which makes me now 4 weeks 3 days due May 9th! :) Congrats!!!!!!!!!

That would put you at about 4+2 hun. That is what the GP/MW will tell you and then it will be more accurate at the dating scan at 12 weeks.

Congrats btw, I am pg with my first too, am 10+6 so feel free to ask any silly questions, as I have prob asked them!!

xxxx :hugs:

YAY grats and another May Mummy WELCOME ;)

i'm sure it explains it all on the back of the box hun if u still have it x

Thank you all for your replies and your congrats! It's all still very surreal and odd - no where near sunk in yet.

I've been putting my dates into loads of EDD calculators and they are all giving an EDD of either 7th or 9th May. So I reckon 4+2 or 3 sounds about right to me! How exciting!

We're EDD buddies BlessedTwice!! Yippee!! :happydance:
