Hi ladies do you mind if I join you? I got my bfp yesterday (18th of June). I now don't know how to date myself, do I start counting from the first day of my last period or from the day I think I ovulated as I have a 35 day cycle usually so theres quite a difference between dates

Lets get to know each other a bit

My son just turned 1 on June 15th- I found out just a few days before his B-day that I'm pregnant again! I would LOVE to have a girl this time. DH and I are really happy - we want our kids close together. Unfortunately our families don't seem very excited. I'm a little nervous since he'll be a few mo shy of turning 2 when the newborn arrives- I know it will be challenging. However I can only hope that they will love growing up together as playmates. I was an only child - I'm glad my son will have a sibling.

How about you all? How many kids do you have/want. How far apart are they/ would you like them to be?

This is my first pregnancy and we want one child only. We think but we will see. I want a boy but a healthy baby is fine with me. All my family is excited and this will be the first grandbaby for both sides. My moms already buying stuff for her house and my mil already bought a shirt because she said she has to be first to buy the baby something lol.

I had a mmc in 2011 with my first pregnancy. This is my second pregnancy and I am soooo happy :-D we've been trying for a baby since 2010. I have pcos and ongoing bowel issues so conceiving was difficult. I dont know about the rest of you ladies but im enjoying and relishing every litle symptom ive had so far! Xx

AK- that is great that the Grandmas are getting stuff already With our son- the first grandchild on both sides they were super excited too. Now that it's number 2 they don't seem to care so far- honestly their reactions to the new were quite disappointing.

Little- congrats! Sorry to hear of your mmc and difficulties. This is my 4th pg - but hopefully will become 2nd child. I really loved being pg with my son! If this one is anything like the last time- it should be pretty easy again. Plus there is just something about knowing you're creating a new life inside you that makes it all worth it. Sometimes you wish you could turn the clock ahead- but really it goes by so fast anyways - I'm going to try ti savor each moment as much as I can.

Hello ladies- I got my BFP on June 14. We have been trying for just about 6 months an had one m/c due to a car wreck I was in. I'm due on February 14, 2014. This will be my second child. I have a son who will be 3 in September. My bf and I are soo excited. This will be his second child as well, however his son from a past relationship, passed away when he was 2 months old because of birthing complications. He was very preemie. We've lost a lot in our time together, but we've come out stronger than ever.

Sunshine- sorry to hear about your losses. Especially your Bf's son - I couldn't even imagine going through that. You're right though- once you get past it you do come out stronger. I hope all goes well for everyone here!

I'm so mad at myself today- I'm a photographer- I took my son's 12 mo pics a few days ago. When my card was importing there was glitch in the catalog. I thought all the pics had already transferred to the comp and all I needed to do was redo the catalog. It turns out that they didn't make it to the comp and I erased the card already to do another session. So I just lost most of the pictures from his session. Really not looking forward to all the work of doing them again (but am glad they were my own pics and are redoable and it wasn't for a client). GRRR!

Pregnancy brain already starting lol. But yeah really glad those weren't for a client. Sad that you lost those pictures though. I've done that to my cameras before- and lost some pretty awesome pictures, from a vacation and a family reunion lol...

Vacations and reunions are things that can't just be repeated either! Bummer! I'm still stewing about my stupidity, but at least I can take them again. I have a friend that is going to help me with them this afternoon- so he can kid wrangle while I'm at the camera. Ben's been crabby the past couple of days with new teeth coming through- so I hope that he'll be in a good mood and we can get the happy ones I want. I will feel so much better once the session is over and this is off my list to do again. I get way to stressed about it, but I want them to be awesome
