I finally got my :BFP:
I've had irregular and long cycles since coming of birth control pills 14 months ago. I always ovulated on my own, but according to my OB it was always weak (either a bad egg or not enough progesterone).
I also ALWAYS spot before my period, anywhere from 2-6 days before, and every month I crossed my fingers that this time it was IB.
This cycle was my second round of Clomid, but my first at the 100mg dose. I decided not to use OPK for once, but on CD 15 I found an old one and it was positive! I usually have two to three positive OPK in a row, and since I only took one this month I don't know exactly where that one fit in. I was really excited to see a positive OPK because I have never O'd before CD 20.
We BD every day for 11 days. I know every other is supposedly better, but I just didn't want to take any chances. Our last BD was the day before my CD 20 progesterone test just in case I hadn't O'd yet.
My CD 20 progesterone test was 36! I had never had a score higher than 1. After that I impatiently waited until I could test. I checked constantly to see if I was starting to spot, but only came across creamy CM.
On Saturday I took my first HPT. I calculated that I was about 10 dpo, so I was hopeful that if I was pregnant a BFP would show up. I used a dollar tree test and BFN.
On Sunday I decided to take my second dollar tree test. The whole test strip turns pink at first, so when I saw the dark control line pop up within a few seconds I figured it was negative again and went to lay back down in bed. About 20 minutes later I got up and took another look, and there was a tiny faint pink line! I was so excited! DH could even see the line, but he wasn't convinced that it meant we were pregnant because it was so faint. I tried to take a photo of it, but it didn't even show up.
I held my pee again for about 4 hours, and then tested again on a FRER test, and another faint pink line showed up within seconds. Again this morning I took another FRER test, and the line is even darker (I posted a picture of it as my avatar).
I am so happy!
