BFP AFTER my period?

I'm new here, so glad I found this site! Hopefully you guys can give me some insight!

Is it possible to have your period (or bleeding around the time of your expected period) and still be pregnant?
I always thought this was impossible, but for the past month i'm (4 weeks past conception) i've been getting bfp's, and was almost POSITIVE i was pregnant.

I had horrible headaches, boobs were sore (they never are...not even before AF), completely exhausted, nauseous, etc. and the BFP's just confirmed it for me. They were faint lines, but 20 tests in a row i started to trust them lol

So 2 days ago I got my period, or what seems like it, it's lighter than usual but right on time...
I tested again today and got the darkest BFP ever!

What in the world is going on????
IS this even possible? or am I losing my mind???

I cannot go to the doctor until my insurance clears and it's going to be a few weeks because I just started a new job so i'm trying to get some peace of mind on my own before I can go find out for sure!

Well that was a short stay in TTC! Its just a bit of bleeding during early pregnancy, its called decidual bleeding, very normal, +hpt is real hun! Well done and congrats!

Some women continue having periods all the way through their pregnancy hun. If you are still getting BFP I would say you probably are one of these people. Try not to stress yourself out too much and go see the dr as soon as you can. Hope that helps.

if you're still getting a bfp then it is possible, some women do get light periods according to a book I've read, I would say you're ok as long as no pain. Do a digi in a couple of days to be certain

thanks everyone yall make me feel much better! Yes i already went to planned parenthood but this was BEFORE the period lol and they said i was definitely pregnant

I guess i'm just not wanting to get my hopes up because it just doesn't seem real! But you are making me feel much better!

My boyfriend is currently deployed to Afghanistan and he is so so excited about the baby but I just don't want to get his hopes up if maybe this means something is wrong, so i hopefully soon i will find out for sure!

so for anyone that read my original post... i'm still unable to go to the doctor
and i'm STILL confused

i keep getting 2 lines...

on every brand EXCEPT for pink tests what in the world!!!!
why do pink tests come up negative it is so crazy cuz these blue lines appear IMMEDIATELY and don't fade!



please help me i am so so so confused.
i'm still having crazy symptoms if i'm pregnant i should be about 7 weeks by now...


i tried to post a picture but it wouldnt let me cuz i'm new here but the line is just as dark as the control
so why in the world are pink tests not working for me??

am i pregnant?
i'm going insane lol help!

i bled from week 5 to week 14...everyday...on and off bedrest...and my dd is just fine (she is 12mths old) it wasn't HEAVY bleeding and as long as your not filling a pad in less than an hour or having cramps i think your okay...my dr would say to test in one week to make sure

well thanks but i'm not convinced i'm pregnant LOL

should i trust the blue-dye tests even if at 7 weeks i'm getting negatives on pink tests?

try a digital test to confirm? that's what i'd do...

i got a negative on digital too!!!!!! so confusing! lol
i mean literally i've gotten over 20 probably more positives on blue dye tests but not on pink or digital
it makes no sense to me!

try asking the girls in first tri or one of the other preg. sections. maybe one of them had that problem. goodluck to ya!

How did planned parenthood confirm your pregancy? Was it a urine test too or bloods? You would have to think if they confirmed it then you are pregnant.

urine that's why i wasnt sure whether or not to trust it.
i asked for a blood test but they said i'd have to go to another place to have it done.
