Hello ladies!

Well, my period was meant to start 19th dec and its now 26th and is not here. There have been a few times that i have had it in my head that i am pregnant but the tests always came out . Well i have been feeling a bit weird and shitty recently but decided not to think anything of it as i always get stressed about it. But i did a test this morning and... The line that determines whether its positive was faint but i seen it with my own eyes!!

I am going to do another test tomorrow and if that is a aswel il be off to the doctors.

I was just wondering, if the line is faint does that mean im probably not pregnant?

Oh im not sad, havnt changed that thing. My computer doesnt like this site and takes ages to do everything.
And i am not trying for a baby. But if i were to become pregnant i would be excited and deal with the consequences.
I am on the pill but there is chance it didnt work as i was sick a whiley ago.
I am kind of hoping for another bfp tomorrow. You lot would probably think im crazy for saying that though as i am 16 years old!

Yeah thats whats i think of it like. Age is just something about you, doesn't just mean you are a 'immature irresponsible teen'. I believe that if you think you are old enough to be in a sexual relationship that you should know that you may become pregnant and if you do then you should hold your head high, deal with the consequences and bring that baby up the best you can. I have always really wanted a baby young. I cant wait to take a test tomorrow now

Not meaning to be patronising but you sound really mature, and i completely agree with what you've said about age not affecting parenting skills and about taking responsibility once you start having sex Good luck when you next test. But as others have said a line is a line regardless of how faint it is. If you want to see some examples of faint lines that are positives take a look in the pregnancy tests gallery xx

Agreed, if you're old enough to have sex, you should be old enough/mature enough to deal with the outcomes ~ good or bad. A line is a line though, remember testing the first time you pee in the morning is the best time

I suggest you go to the doctor and have a blood test done.That way you'll get a clear answer once and for all.

Hey. I got a negative at first then faint positives (all five) i really didnt believe it so I went to the drs and actually and started bleeding so i thought my period jus came that day nope the test came back positive. And now Im almost 29 weeks pregnant. So it can go either way. good luck hun

If you looked at the test with in five minutes and you saw the line, that's a positive.

False positives are like.. more rare than albino panda bears (yeah pulling that one outta my back end.) but you get what I'm saying.

Some tests will detect a higher amount of hcg than others.

Thats me done 4 tests now and 3 were positive. I went to the docs yesterday and she has booked me in for a blood test next week. I want a scan...i dont believe i am pregnant until i see!

I am pretty sure with three positives out of four you are pregnant. A lot of times you won't get a scan till around 12 weeks pregnant unless you have a bleed. Sorry to bring you down there. But huge congrats cause guess what you are pregnant.

By the way I got pregnant taking birth control religiously so dont let that part make you think your not. I am 26 weeks pregnant with my little suprise princess.

I also got pregnant taking birth control to an alarm on my cell phone (so dead on for the most part, no more than a few minutes difference everyday).

I know I sound stupid BUT I wasn't sure about my period exactly as it didn't follow the pack the way it should have.. so I got an ultrasound to date the pregnancy..
