Bicarbonate Of Soda Gender Test!!! :)

hey everyone!

Ok, so i saw this in 2nd tri. U put a spoonful of bicarbonate of soda in a cup and pee on it. If it fizzes its a boy, if it doesnt its a girl!

Just tried it and nothing,couldnt have been less fizzy if it tried! So according to that its a girl!

I know its probably a load of rubbish, some people on the 2nd tri thread said it worked, some didnt. Has anyone tried it with previous pregnancies? Anyone else want to try it now?!!

Anyhow, its a bit of fun!!

I know i hadnt either!! Its probably a load of rubbish but its fun trying (god how sad am i? Fun is peeing on bicarb of soda!! ) Mine did nothing at all, just sat in a gloop at the bottom.

also, apparently u can buy something called Intelligender, which tests the ph of ur wee and says boy/girl. Reading reviews they seem to have mixed responses, but more saying it worked than not!!

My partner & I have decided not to know the sex this time but I like taking part in these funny gender prediction things I dont think they really work....lets face it, got a 1 in 2 chance of being right hahaha. Its all good fun though.

Its to do with the acidity/alkalinity i think?? Mine didnt do anything,no fizz. xx

I dont know, iv just read that doctors say the acidity and alkalinity can vary person to person anyway,so god knows what its based on!! Im not going to hold my breath over my 'results' though!!

if u put bicarbonate in water it fizzes for sure...if it doesnt its not a good quality bicarbonate...
