BIG Babies!!!

If genetics count, I'll have a big baby! My brother and I were almost 9 lb each, and my grandma (youngest of 8 kids) was an incredible FOURTEEN POUNDS and was delivered at home, vaginally, sans pain meds!!! Amazing... in a horrifying way. How did great-grandma do it?!

Everyone seems to be saying I'm gonna have a massive baby, cos I got a big bump, and am measuring ahead of my dates. I am 5ft 10" and bubs' Dad is about 6ft 3". However, one dctor said it could be because I've got bad water retention - you can actually feel the fluid in my belly.
Anyway, having a growth scan soon, so willl find out more then. However I've heard alot of people say that the growth scans are not that accurate, and can often be wrong.
