Big Presents - Wrap or Build?

PP, we've bought our Brooke a kitchen too-we're going to build it xmas eve and then wrap it in some HUGE paper tablecloths with santa on that i bought from the pound shop you could do that maybe? xx

We have got Tyler-jay a three wheeler pram, which i am going to set up with a teddy init for him to see & play with straight away, and my OH and I got him some big castles that we may set up soon, Tyler-Jay at his age doesnt like unwrapping a hell of a lot anyway- he just wants the TOYS!!
Also i think something different from last year im going to unbox some of his pressies and then wrap them so he can play straight away IYKWIM?

I'd build it. I feel for the kids waiting and waiting for their present to be built. Patience is not one of their strongest assets.

That's a great idea ... I always used sheets, but paper tablecloths sound like fun and a cheap alternative to wrapping paper - I'm gonna do that with Kaylums rocking horse

Defo set it up! My Dad has bought Em a kitchen but he is not bringing it up on Christmas Day. We are at his on Boxing Day so she will get it then. He built it but said it took forever as he had loads of stickers to put on it!

Chloe and Jaycee have silver cross prams so I am gonna build them Christmas Eve for them and put them in the bedroom until they have opened everything else and then bring them out with a big pink bow on them both.

Im building LO's tomy discovery dome and his push along walker and then everything else that's pretty big or big (bounce and spin zebrea etc) are wrapped up so there isn't gonna be too many big things all out at once to overwhelm him

Santa doesn't leave presents wrapped in our house so big things are built up when we go down on Christmas morning

LOL this reminds me of when I was about 7 and my empty dolls house was left unwrapped and by the santa sack and inside the santa sack was about 50 pc's of furniture, lighting and people all wrapped up individually and still in their packets! took me nearly a day to play with the thing
