I would like to join too

My chunk weighed 9.6lb born and is still on 99 percentile for weight and height but its ok we are used to her size its other's who aren't.
I do feel like I missed out on having a newborn baby and feel I was handed a 3 month old I also miss out on the super cute baby clothes as she wears 2-3 year olds (she 10.5 months old).

Congratulations on baby Theo - my goodness 11lbs 3 1/5 ounce! Well done you!! Lovely pic, he doesn't look 11lbs in it How is Chloe liking being a big sister? Any nice birthday plans for her?

his name is max lol he does look and feel a hell of a lot smaller than Chloe was tho!!

i think madam has mixed feelings atm, likes to play up alot!
we are taking her to playbarn, which is an indoor soft play area, with a few little friends xxx

Aww, I guess it's all still relatively new for her.I know when I help out with my nephew who is now 6 months, I usually end up with Chloe on my knee as well, she likes to tickle his feet or poke his nose - but he is a bit more sturdy now for that! Have fun at the playbarn xx

Huh, I'm surprised I haven't seen this thread before. My LO was 10.6 at birth and has always worn a size ahead of herself!

And me please!! My daughter has been 91st and 98th cent most of her life. The health visitor mentioned obesity the other week and it really upset me. Now I'm super conscious about her weight and she's only 9 months!!

Hey ladies, I haven't posted on here for a while so thought I'd give you a little update! Fran was 23lbs 4.5oz when she was weighed a couple of weeks ago and just slightly below the 99.6th centile. She is still following the 75th for height so fairly well in proportion

The 2 hv's at my clinic have always told me she is just perfect and that her weight gain will slow down once she starts getting more active - and they were right. She has been following a curve for the last couple of months instead of spiking upwards lol!

hollypop27 Welcome too Its awful when you hear things like that, I am sure your LO is perfectly fine My LO went up to 98th and she is perfectly happy and healthy. They just use old statistics and throw horrible words around when there really is no need!

Bigbetty: Wow look at Fran now, her hair is growing! Gosh I can't believe she is 7 months already! Good new about her not spiking and following the curve, it certainly stops the HV comments I found once they start being more consistent on the centiles. Lovely pic - did she sample the sand?

We took Chloe to Wales in June and she loved crunching it between her teeth, I can't imagine it being nice at all! Wonder why they loved it so much?!?!

I am so happy to have found this forum, I am hoping I can join as well, it is great to see so many mom's with big, beautiful babies!

My story is I had my little miracle on 9/6, Malcolm Vincent was 11# 7 oz and 22" long, he is 7 weeks now and last Tuesday weighed in at 17# and is 24 3/4" long now! He is in 6-9 month clothing, some 3-6 still fits but not much and in size 3 diapers. I keep telling him at this rate he will be wearing depends by the time he is 1 because nothing else will fit! I love having a big baby, he is so beautiful and extra kissable.

I am BFing and he was born with tongue tie, I am wondering if anyone else had a tongue tie baby, he is doing so much better now and is learning to become a proficient nurser, doing so much better than his first week.

I am 5'10 and husband is 6'2, I am wondering if he will peak and slow down, he just looks like a 3-4 month old, so cute but boy oh boy, heavy!! I have to get him use to being carried in my ergo baby carrier but he is so long and doesn't have total head control yet but he is so strong, can hold his head up when being held and can hold it up and look side to side when on his tummy. He rolled from his back to his side at 6 days old, I was in the rest room and came out and said "my goodness buddy, slow down already "
I would love to hear from anyone else on this forum with these big beautiful babies

EJ was tounge tied, i had to exclusively pump for him for 5wks and he outgrew the tie and went back to BF like a pro lol he wanted milk didnt care where it came from lol and couldnt stomach formula.
btw your LO is sooo cute

My boy was big but not that big! Are you using the infant insert for the ergo? You might need to get rid of it sooner than later, those big guys outgrow it quick.

Weight updates ladies?
We're topping the scales at 34lbs at almost 17 months, size 3 toddler clothing, he just keeps growing it's scary! I'm 5'5 and OH is barely 5'10, not sure how this happened!! LOL
