Im 30 weeks, 4 days and for the past few days spuds movements have definatly slowed down. To the point that I had not felt a thing since early yesterday morning!
Been worried all day and did everything I could think of to try and stir some sort of movement; warm bath, poking around, getting hubbles to chat to bump, playing loud music....but nothing :nope:

I've just had a big meal of pasta bake and low & behold I got 6 big movements within 10 minutes! :happydance::happydance::happydance:

So is my baby playing evil mind games with me as I don't think I have the sanity to deal with another couple of days like that
I've got a Dr's appointment tomorrow and am going to get him to check that everything is infact a-ok, just in case.
I know they say the baby has less room to move around now but I would have thought that becasue there is less room you would feel the movements more??? Or am I being stupid?

It makes me worry when I don't feel little one too. Just remember to do kick counts, they tell us to do it for good reasons.

talk to your doc tomorrow and if need be call your mw to get monitored too. even if you call them tonight to be safe! just follow your gut instincts - thats why we have them after all xx

Glad everything is ok now! Just give your doctor or hospital a call if it happens again and they will monitor babies heart beat. It really does help just to put your mind at rest.

mines been doing the same! this one drives me crazy - I take myself off to the hospital where they put me on a monitor and he goes mad - making me look like a complete idiot!

BUT saying that ....it's always better to get checked!

......evil - but a REALLY cold glass of juice normally works :winkwink: or ice-cream! (But I've had times where it's not bothered LO)

    :hugs:

Glad your baby decided to move.

My baby has her quiet days, and usually the day after her quiet day she'll be really active.
They some days have to spend all their energy on growing.
My baby used to kick alot, now it's more movements and squirms and pushing body parts out.

Just got back from my Dr's appointment where he checked spud's heartbeat and movements- all fine! As soon as the Dr put his hands on my bump the baby went mental lol! He also measured spud and his reaction "My god, thats grown since last time!"........WHAT?! Do I have a giant growing inside me?

I am SO relieved that everything is ok, he did say for me to stay off the paracetamol as this may be causing spud to slow down.

    HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!
