Black & white theme with vintage/shabby chic?

Do you think it is possible to blend the 2 together & for it to look ok

I really like vintage stuff as well as the shabby/chic look & am thinking of getting a few vintage bits for the gardens where the wedding will be but dont want it to not look right??

I think this could work, go for a bit of a 1940s kinda style and I think it will look really fab! xxx

YES YES YES!!!!!!!! it does- because thats exactly what we're doing.

The colours are: black & white/ cream. With hints of vinatge pink- seriously our wedding is coming togetehr fast and it looks just as you described!!! It does & CAN WORK!!

Honeybee i am going for hanging things up in the garden & letters that spell things making it quite vintage

I have ordered our black & white stripe bags for the candybar & then im going to have black & white poka dot ribbon to tie on the jars of the candy bar

Vintage wise we have:

A vintage wedding dress/ suit hire
Black and white lace baroque invitations/ table names/name places/ seating plan
White round 4 tier cake with black lace covering
Black & white chair covers
Candelabras covered in pearls and white tulle as centrepieces with old jars filled with vintage pink peonies & roses
Vintage old english bridal bouquet. bridesmaids bouquet (vintage/ old pink peonies, off white roses and lilly of the valley)
I have a friend of mine who makes vintage jewellery do me a 1920's pearl and crystal headband
Real vintage garter
Walking down the isle to Etta James 'at last'
Bridesmaids in classic floor length black gowns with long pearls and headresses.
Favours are old fashioned sweets in cellophane bags
bunting and lanterns in the trees on the lawn which you can go out on from the ceremony/reception ballroom

ITS GOING TO BE UBER AMAZING!!!!!
what other vintage stuff do you have?
