Bleeding after c-section & when should things get back to normal??

After my c-section 3 weeks ago, I am still having some bleeding .. some days more than pthers. How long does this last? I didn't have regular cycles before getting pregnant, so I don't know if I should expect them to be normal after? My doctor has said that I may have PCOS .. so we will see, but when do cycles generally return to normal? My hubby and I are ready to start trying again as soon as possible. Thanks!
