Bleeding after checking cervix

Does this happen to anyone?

Not sure if I scratched it. The blood if bright red, and didn't appear until after I checked it.
OPKs are negative, so it's not ovulation bleeding; and i think the amount of blood is more volume too.

I've had that happen a couple times. I also sometimes get back cramps after checking.

I seem to average 38 day cycles, so I should ovulate this weekend.
I haven't been able to temp the last 2 nights because I was working night shifts. My opk's are still negative.

I'm starting to wonder if this is going to be a shorter cycle (the shortest I've had since Jan was 33 days).
