Bleeding after EPRC

Sorry for the icky topic!

I had my EPRC on Wednesday. Directly after the procedure I bled quite a lot, and filled a pad up before I left the hospital. I then had quite a bit of bleeding for the rest of the afternoon.

Then the day afterwards, pretty much nothing... and nothing today!

Now, I'm thinking that either a) the surgeon managed to get the majority of it whilst doing the procedure...

or

b) I've got a clot that is bunging up the system!

Did everyone else bleed for long after the EPRC. It does seem a bit odd to not have no bleeding 2 days afters, when they said that I could bleed for up to 2 weeks!

I'm not complaining... but just want to know that I'm normal!

Hi when i had my d&c 3 weeks ago i only bled for a couple of days and mine wasnt very much at all,so i think you should be ok i guess they only say up to 2 weeks just so your aware.

Hi I had my ERPC this morning and have hardly bled, the lady opp me had the same procedure and her bed had to be changed because she was bleeding quite heavily.

I was exactly the same as you, so don't worry. I think they give you the worst case scenario with 2 weeks!!!

I had an ERPC and had minimal bleeding. On the day of the ERPC, when I went to the loo, I literally just flushed out blood, didn't really have that much after that, then I had spotting for about 9 days after (although I did have a couple of days of no bleeding at all). I think it's normal, especially if you bled quite alot initially.

Thanks Susan! From everyone's responses I feel a lot better... I have had a bit more bleeding today, but it's been light... I think I was expecting really heavy gushing... so am quite relieved.

I think from your "name" you're the same age as me!
