My second hcg reading came back and it's gone from 42 to 89 in two days

Got an early scan booked on 24th September (7 weeks) to check up on the bean, but the nurse seemed very happy and positive

Hia hun - im glad things are looking up for you- just to let you know in my first pregnancy i had bleeding at 6 weeks and 19 weeks and both were down to me having ' erosion of the cervix' xx

Huni I think it's bad they are leaving you soo long for a scan I would also say if you are bleeding due to infections you need to be treated for it so swabs need to be taken to check this as I was told the bleeding would continue if not treated x

Hmmm Poppymist, you called it. The hospital just called me and said the consultant reviewed my file and they want to bring my appointment forward to Monday because "there's no point making me wait".

I don't know how to read this? Is there something they know that I don't? I thought HCG levels had to get to 1000 before there was any point of scanning? Even if mine double every 2 days I'd only be at 700 odd?

Try not to worry about it babes they probably just wanna see what has started the bleeding and if it does need to be treated as I was told that my infection was so bad that if I hadn't of been checked and treated ilthe chances the bleeding would have caused me to mc were over the normal 50% ..... I hope they get to the bottom of this and just make sure you rest babes. X
