Bleeding on the pill

I have been taking birth control since Lucie's 6 week appointment. Took the mini pill until five months then switched to regular birth control pill that goes for three months before the "dud" pills.

I am in the second week of my second round of three months and I have been bleeding as if I am on my period for nearly a week. It isn't getting lighter, in fact it is getting a little heavier (still not bad, I have light periods and it is like a normal period). I am on active pills, should this be happening?? (I never took birth control before pregnancy so I am really a newbie)

It happens sometimes and it's normal as long as your bleeding isn't excessively heavy . Especially with the 3 month pills sometimes you'll have break though bleeding as your body adjusts .
