Bleeding?

Hi everyone, sorry for tmi but I have been bleeding since mybaby was born 5 weeks agao! Im not sure of thats normal, it was heavy then for the past 3 weeks they has been barely anything but still enougth to wear a pad and today I woke up with quite a bit of red blood and bits of pain.

At a guess id say the past 5 weeks was normal after birth bleeding and now im having my first period? Just wondering if that sounds about right?

I also had a c-section as he was breech if that matters

I bled for 8 weeks with my first and had a "renewed" bleed at 6 weeks. Scared the crap out of me at the time but turns out everything was fine and it eventually stopped. I was worried about retained product but according to my doctor I would have had signs of infection if that were the case. As long as you aren't soaking a pad an hour you are likely fine. Some women bleed longer than others. Personally, I would get checked by your doctor if you are having pains to make sure that all is well
