hi im 20 years old and found out on my 20 week scan my baby had dilated kidneys. had 2 scans since and nothing much has really changed baby just needs antiboitcs ones she is born n they said everything else was perfect. but i was at the hospital the other night as my baby hadnt moved as much but mdwife said if i had been busy that day i prob wouldnt have noticed her movement wich she was right and everything went back to normal. but today my wid wife rang me with a appoinment for a blood flow scan tomorrow and i just dont understand why this is?? is it because she stopped moving the other night or is it something else?? please help me im stressing out xxx

I dont have the answers hun, I think it is probably because of your baby's dilated kidneys they want to take extra special care of you both. If they were concermed about movements putting you on the CTG monitor where they do a long trace of baby's heartbeat would be the first step usually :flower: Also if they were concerned they would not of left it, a ctg or scan would of happened quite quickly hun.

I hope this has helped a little?

well they did have me on the heart monior thing when i went the other night but said everything was fine. people keep tellin gme they are just double checking all the time i just cant help but worry. im already terrified of hospitals and my parner left me so im doing it all on my own xx

everytime i have been seen for low movements in my last pregnancy i always had a ctg. And then was also called for a scan where they check cord flow. It was standard at my old hospital . So could be routine

thankyou very much. i think i just worry to much lol. was everything ok with your little one? xx
