Hey, sorry for the TMI but has anyone ever experienced blood in urine during pregnancy?? I'm in the Dr office waiting room now and told the nurse about a random dark red urination I had previous to appointment so she took a sample and said that was a lot of blood in my urine and this one is weaker than the previous urination.
going to see the doc soon but anyone out there experience anything similar? I'm scared.

Glad you're already at the docs! My first guess would be bladder infection or UTI. It's not a lot of fun, and important to get treated properly, but not a huge worry.

Hopefully by now you've already gotten back to the doctor and gotten a diagnosis. Please update us when you have a chance. :)

Still.waiting to be seen. I have been googling (bad thing to do) and I don't seem to have any of the typical UTI or bladder infection signs. No burning, no pain, ect. Still waiting on doc but today was the first day that I felt normal since being pregnant and its like *wham* "you're feeling better? Well lets through something else out there"

Wow, that stinks having to wait so long for the doctor. You're right - stay off google, it's a bad thing to do!!

I hope you have some reassuring answers soon!

I'm home and reassured for now. Doc said that the UTI rapid test was negative which had me worried me but he said that the test tests for protein(?) and there was none but that there was bacteria which could mean a bladder infection from the increased usage and holding it in too long! (didn't know that) said he has seen cases where there were infections but no signs but that they are rare. I am on antibiotics for 7 days with strict orders to call if it doesn't clear up.

Oh good! Was just going to say I don't tend to get symptoms when I get UTI's, not at first anyway. I tend to get the symptoms when they reach my kidney.

Antibiotics should sort you out! Hope it clears up soon for you :)

I pee blood with every kidney stone on the move (and believe it or not, the back pain wasn't bad enough for me to even suspect until it was stuck in my urethra!) now I get them chronically and it's the same story every time. Maybe ask for an U/S of your kidneys? My doctors avoided the blood (because it was ~normal for me), and I ended up passing a very painful 4mm stone without any assistance
