blood tests - how long should i wait before 2nd test

so i gave blood yesterday (Monday) morning to check my hcg level. I need to give blood a second time to check if the levels have increased. How long should i wait before going in again? is Thursday enough time for the hcg level to double or should i wait 3 days and do it on Friday????

im so bloody paranoid, keep thinking that something will go wrong even though i have no reason at all to feel this way!

I've always done it 48 hours apart

So I would go Wednesday. I've had several tests and both my ob and fertility dr always do 48 hours

At early stages it takes 48-72 hrs to double.

This early I would go 48hrs. It's still normal if it takes 72hrs to double but the lower the hcg the quicker it doubles. I think it's after 1200 it starts to take a bit longer to double, ie closer to the 72hr mark.

I have had hcg tested 3 times.
Oct 23rd (17 DPO) - 305
Oct 25th (19DPO) - 856
Oct 31st (25DPO) - 11225
So my doubling time is still about 39 hours.
