Hi all,
I was hoping to get some clarity on what my blood work actually means...and I hoping there are some experts out there who know how to explain these numbers to me :)

Background on the morning of 10/8 (doing pre-op for a cyst removal!) my doctor found that I had 4 follicles without medication!!!! First time since May that I have had follicles. So, he canceled surgery!

Follicles were sized 18.5, 15.9, 13.5, 12. Trigger shot the night of 10/8. I should have O'd on morning of 10/10.

6 dpo I had blood work. My results were:
Estradiol = 159
Progesterone = 18.95

The nurse told me these were good.

And that is all I know -- why are these good? What does this mean?

I tried to research online and am not able to find anything that really tells me what this means. Is this indicative of pregnancy or simply that I ovulated?

Also, doc said to start testing next Friday. That seems so far away-- anyone test earlier than 2 weeks po? Are the results ever reliable?

Thanks!

Its an indicator of ovulation. Those are very good for unmedicated! Don't test too early if you triggered, you could give yourself a false positive. A lot of people test every day after the trigger until its gone so that they know when the real bfp is

Thank you!

So ovulation is a very exciting for me! I have been on multiple drug combinations with no ovulation since May-- so this is so exciting.

Thanks for the info :)
