Blue dye vs pink dye question???

Hi everyone. I am VERY new to this site and have appreciated reading all our your thoughts and encouragement to one another.

My question is, is it the general consensus that the blue dye tests are pretty unreliable? And pink is much better?

I have taken "a few" (or a lot) of tests and the blue dye tests I had (CVS and Target brand) showed a positive result within the 2 minutes but the First Response I took showed no line.

Anyone else have this experience?

(I have no idea how many DPO I am but AF is due Sept. 5th.)

Oh boy....I've had TONS of blue dye tests in the past 2ww and half come up positive fast.....but I took pink ones and NOTHING....I am now 18dpo and am curious about the same thing....anyone else have any ideas or thoughts on which to use and what to trust?

id first check to see what the sensitivity on the ones you took are. If the pink dye ones have a higher number then you may just not be far enough along for them to pick up a bfp if the blue dye ones are a lower number. Id get a pink dye one with a liw sensitivity and see if it picks up

Yup, me too. I personally no longer trust the blue dye ones, sorry

I have never actually used blue dye tests, but I've never had an evap or false bfp on a pink test. I've always used the pink dyes because they're cheaper haha. The only blue dye test I've ever seen is clear blue, and those are really too expensive for me to use to feed my POAS addiction lol.

But yeah, never had problems with the pinks
