Ella will be 5 months on wednesday, but she is soo interested in food! Well, the last few days, we have been giving her some food on her highchair just so she can 'join in' at dinner time and to let herexperience new flavours etc. Last night I made chunky sweet potato wedges and put a couple on her tray and boy did she getstuck in! She did eat a little.bit, and it ended up like mashed potato all over the plce, but she had fun and it kept her quiet whilst we all ate. She has also had banana (which was hilarious as it was so slippery!) And tonight we will give her some brocolli florets.
Is it okay to be doing this just now? She clearly has the skills to get the food toher mouth and since she is eating some, it seems she is ready. Of course, we will stick to fruit/veg until she is 6 months.
Also, what are some other good foods for her to try?
