blw - can ff babies do it?

I'm reading about baby led weaning and liking the sound of it. Can I do it if my baby is formula fed or is it only for breast fed babies?

At the mo we are combination feeding (shes 9 weeks) but I expect by weaning to be only ff.

Yes, FF babies can do it. It is possible that FF babies may be less keen on different flavours at first as their feeds have all tasted the same for so long, but I had to FF my baby and she likes pretty much all the food we offer.

We're the same. Imi has been FF since 6 weeks and is now BLW She's doing great and tried everything we've given her with no problems. Seems to like most if not all of it too

Same with us, Adam was combination fed (mostly FF) till 4 months, then totally FF after. He's tried everything we've offered and is enjoying himself and doing well, I can't imagine he'd have been different if we had BF.

Yep Ophelia was FF and she was fine with BLW,we had no problems at all
