BMI and medical advice received

Wow good job on the weight loss dodger and congrats on your pregnancy!!!

Hmm well I go to the gym 4 times a week, I do mostly cardio and pump, but my doctor said that it was good to do all the exercise and puts me in a much better position for a pregnancy  so there is definitely an inconsistency in the advice given.

There was a lady who is a PT who used to post on here (now pregnant) who advised that you can continue with your regular pre-pregnancy exercise programme, just to avoid situps and crunches in the first trimester.

This is accurate, it is safe to maintain your previous level of activity unless you need to go on bedrest for medical reasons. It really helps to curb the weight gain and also helps you get back into shape sooner after baby comes than women who are completely sedentary during pregnancy :hugs:

Sounds like a plan, I would want to be as healthy as possible for TTC and pregnancy
