I've done my BMI on 2 different calculators and come up with 2 very different results. What is the best/most accurate one to use?

https://www.nhs.uk/Tools/Pages/Healthyweightcalculator.aspx

the large difference may have been if you entered the wrong units.
There is a standard formula for calculating BMI (in the UK) so you should get the same result everytime!

Hi the calculation is weight in kilos divided into your height in metres squared

so if you are 80 kilos and 179 cm it would be 80 divided into 3.20 = 25 therefore BMI is 25

Hope that helps xx

i think i'll stick with the NHS one; as it's the doctor's surgery I'm dieting through so might as well stick with the same medium. thanks for the help ladies :D
