~BnB Biggest Losers~

I'm just starting out "trying" to lose the weight.. you girls are all doing so, so well, so I'm wondering what really works. I've tried doing my research online but I find a site either pushes a philosophy on you or rips it apart, so I'm just curious to see what everyone's "methods" are.. ie: Weight Watchers, just calorie counting, do you swear by hour long walks daily, etc. I'm open minded to everything so if you've got the time.. maybe the positives and at least one negative if you can think of one?

For me it's just calorie counting. Although sometimes i'm too strict which is worse because my body holds fat. I have no more than 1000cals a day.

I was naughty and weighed myself again this morning (i swear that's it till sat!) but i now weigh less than 11 stone for the first time in about 2 years. I tried on a bunch of my old size 12 clothes and i can get the majority of them on :D

I wanna do the loser of the week thing too xx

lol mum has archie this weekend so me and oh out drinking fri....but i will be good and have no choclate lol....im forgetting what it tastes like haha.

tasha i do weight watchers and the good thing is u can have what ever you like obviously within reason as long as it is counted within ur points.

lol i cant actualy think of a really bad thing atm but im sure i will soon lol

maaan i have such a headache today! been a tad naughty with the excersize dvd lol...but i am defo starting it tomo....i tryed on an item of clothing today ok they already fit me but were real tite....well now its comfy man and i also fit in stews combats lol never cud b4. jus one of the chins wud go so i can see a difference lol i hate hamster cheeks too! xxx

...i found you can easily go over your points and go hungry!

You need to learn how to spend your points wisely and not too early in the day... thats the mistake i made :dohh:
 
Agree with that one kerry, it counts for calorie counting too...I try and hold back 300 calories for evening
 
SW is brill if u have a big appetite cos you get a HUGE variety of foods that are free... but weight loss can slow down dramatically cos you can eat alot...

...but it works on food optimising so its foods that keep you fuller for longer
 
I told my mum etc not to get me an easter egg and i'm gonna put the money in my little savings pot instead. But i do have a big night out on fri. I'm trying to peek at the menu in advance so i can work out something not too unhealthy. Would i look really odd if i order 2 starters instead of a starter and main?

ETA: Can i please be added to the first page? I've lost 24lbs so far.

i'm thinking i'll have the soup followed maybe by the goats cheese :blush: I know it's naughty but i absolutely love it! Might be good and find something healthier if possible though. Trying to work out my cals today, think i've prob had about...850. But they're all from rubbish. I had about 100cals worth of rice, one spoon curry sauce, half a mini naan, 4 bourbon creams, quavers and half a packet of angel delight so about 150cals worth. Ah well, it's not great food but not too bad. xx
 
see i actually find it hard to use all my points...this is why i go on about y body getting used to it lol...cus when it comes to going down a point it wil have no difference on me as i can never use all my points n e way xx
 
im going to be good this weekend and not have any choc at all, if i have a bite of choc i will need to eat at least three e.eggs to feel satisfied, and i dont want to let myself down, ive been really good now since last sunday and not touched anythin i shouldnt, still doin the special k and its suprisingly not that bad :happydance:

Tasha, i dont do ww or sw, i just stick to a low fat diet, although this week ive been doing a special k diet, 2 bowls a day plus a medium sized tea xx
and exercise wise i dont go out of my way to do any, but i dont drive so wherever i go i walk so i can often do 1/2 hour to an hour aday unintentionally by just going to the shops or taking lexi for a walk x
 
babezone some of the girls in my WW class track their points from the evening first so they have some spare points left for snacks etc...

I'm on 22 points and I'll be going down to 21 soon - eeek!!!! My OH is on 32 and he's like "I've got loaaaaaaaads of points left!" So I'm like "give me some then!!!!" he he he.

Have a fab weekend Kerry, hope you enjoy your choccy Mamafy - in my WW calss they went through a loads of points values of choc eggs - Creme Eggs are only 3.5 and Galaxy eggs the same but they showed the big size Yorkie Egg (not including the two Yorkie Bars that came inside the box) came to 33 points :rofl: LMAO!!! x x
 
omg how rude...cadburys creame eggs used to be 3 points lol how can they gain half a point in 2 years....and i kinda dint get wat u ment bout trackin points haha i no dumb!

another good snack is french fries walkers crisps their 1 point each
small bag of butterkist popcorn 1.5 points
mico chips 2.5 (if u need a quick chip fix lol)
 
i had a creme egg on tue..it just jumped into my mouth lol

i HAVE to loose another 7lb at least!!! by may the 3rd so im under my next stone and nearly at my 4 stone marker..im going shopping next thur for an outfit for mr t's christening...still wont manage to get into a 20 though in trousers...ill be a 22 i think but an 18 or 20 in a top which is loads better as before i could just go to the "fat shops" to get my clothes if you get what i mean...
