Ladymilly, chips average medium portion is 7.5 points, if u have cod in batter with chips 14.5 points, mushy peas average portions is 2 points as is curry sauce. hope this helps. you should get the eatting out book hun, it tells u lots in their and the shopping guide book.

I think the eating old guide is ace.... i love it!!

The shopping guide is ok for reference and working out and planning ahead... but whilst shopping its a nightmare! I find the points calculator much better even the cardboard one!! :)
 
well i lost 2lbs :yipee: I know I said I would be happy with 2lbs but I am slightly disappointed!! Never mind.. its heading in the right direction :)

This week I'm starting swimming,twice a week,two hours.If that doesn't make me lose some of this weight,I don't know what will! :)

I cannot believe my feet still dont fit in all my shoes!! I found some that do fit... for next weeks party time... 1 pair I brought a bigger size anyway pre-pregnancy and the other were quite big as well cos they were from New York and about half a size too big previously!! They are both quite tight still and I reckon they are gonna KILL!!! I feel quite unsteady on them!! Prob cos Im carrying so much on top!! :(

Went shopping with my 2 younger sisters today!! So jealous of the tops of their legs... too think this time last year I was wearing a mini skirt... :cry: and for my birthday last year a bright pink tutu with just black hot pants underneath :cry: Its gonna take a while it really is!! I need to be really serious now!! Again this week hasnt been BRILLIANT and if Ive lost 2lbs and not really followed the ww diet I wonder what I COULD have lost!

Bad food is my enemy and excercise is my best friend (I must admit I do seem to have the excercise bug) which is a GOOD thing :happydance: Im not expecting miracles and my confidence is coming back slightly as I start to tone up etc! God how I wish I didnt eat so darn much in my pregnancy :cry: I really really thought it would be easier than this! Especially with all the water I was carrying and still is :( doc just keeps saying "it takes time"!! Oh well... I have my little girl and her smiles make my heart melt :hugs: :)
 
well done kerry your doin fab..your motivation is so high its briliant, what have you lost total now?

i joined slimming world monday as ww was too far away..and i had the free vouchers too ggrrhh!! so will be weighed on monday...ive done ok not cheated at all, im allowed 15 sins a day and ive had roughly about 5 so im hoping for a good weight loss..5lb for my first week would be great..but..being honest i dont feel like iv lost anything at all!!! il be so upset if i havent, i havent been able to do too much exercise but ive managed a walk round town...ive even gone to the lengths of wrapping mr t up in the house nice and snuggly and leaving the heating off with me wearing a flimsy top..apparantly your meant to burn up calories keeping warm .. i bet it dont work lmao and i just end up with frostbite haha I am still struggling in my head as in, biscuits, sandwich with butter...choosing from loads of crap for tea....i dont need it at all but my head is still thinking about it!! ggrrhhh

will let you all no about mon send me lots of loosing vibes

cos my scales were playing up Im gonna keep my ticker at 22lbs this week!! :) Still a long way to go!!
Yeah my head still thinks of crap on days.... and they are the days I feel the most down :(
Good luck for your weigh on!! Just make sure you dont go mad at the weekend, you dont want to undo all your hard work you done in the week!! Last weekend for me was bad so if only.....?!?!

Well, todays weight in showed me I have gained 1 pound since last week Sunday. At least an hour of aerobics a day and a calorie intake of less than 1000 means I'm somehow gaining weight.

As I had the feeling this would happen (DH blames it on the IBS) I decided to also keep track of inches. While I have gained a pound, I have lost a fair few cm. In total, over my waist, hip, leg, arm & chest I have lost 10.5 cm, which is just over 4 inches. I'm happy with that =D So while weight isn't being nice to me, that what matters isn't bad.

Unfortunately this week probably won't go as well. I've come down with a cold, making me not want to do any step aerobics. On top of that I'm travelling on Tuesday, so won't have the wii, and we're going out for dinner on Thursday. So yeah, don't hold much hope for next week. But on the positive side, people who didn't even know I'm dieting have asked me if I've lost weight, as apparently my cheek bones are getting really obvious again. Yay!

i weigh in tomorrow night and i'm dreading it :argh: i've really stuck to it but done no exercise. i don't feel like i've lost anything though :hissy:
 
As of last Thursday I lost another lb and am on the verge of losing another. (I have a scale that weighs pounds and ounces and the ounces are decreasing.)

I've been on the treadmill for 15-20 minutes 5 days out of 7 and that is helping to lose a bit faster. So far, it looks that I lose a pound every four days. :)

Goal: By or near the end of November I should be at my target weight. Fingers crossed!

Recently I bought some new clothes. I bought jeans in my normal size so I have some new clothes when the weight is gone.

I also bought a few outfits of the latest style - leggings with long sweaters that are very slimming :)
