So ladies, what did you have as favours? What made you pick these over everything else available on the market? In hindsight do you wish you'd picked something else?

For the brides to be, what are you having? And what made you come to this decision?

Answers on a postcard :flower:

We are getting married in Brighton and so have got some retro striped sweetie bags and little pieces of rock so everyone will get a bag of them tied with red ribbon and a personalised tag on.

We wanted something very simple and that people would eat rather than something that would end up in a drawer xxx

Love hearts - with non personalised wrappers, more decoration than favour though

we have a retro theme going on with our wedding so our favours are going to be organza bags is retro sweets in (like drum stick lolly's, fruit salad sweets etc) and instead of having table numbers, each table will be names a retro sweet :)

I havnt really decided but it will probibly be sweetys like everyone else hehe

We are getting personalised chocolate bars from pinksnowball (Leanne) on here :) So excited :)

We weren't going to have any as we culdn't afford them but at Leanne's prices it would be daft not too!!

We made a donation to the hospice that looked after OH's mum in her memory.

We made a little sign for each table which said in lieu of favours we have made a donation to a hospice close to our hearts.

We had a sweet buffet! We were trying to think of something a little bit 'different' and this was what we came up with (I realise its not that different though as a lot of people do it now!!) Ill add soem pics for inspiration if anyone is thinking along the same lines :) We just bought some cheapy plastic bowls from asda and some tongs, went to costco and loaded up on all sorts of sweets (hubby got some from some suppliers at work too lol). I bought some party bags that matched our colour scheme online, and made some stickers to put on each bag :) Cheap and simple!!

we did it on the cheap so you could do it a lot better than we did, but it was the talking point and everyone still comments on it now :)

x
