Boobs still hurt from ovulation...normal or not?

I'm 6dpo and my boobs are still seriously sore. They normally get a little tender when I ovulate and then again a couple of days before AF arrives. I've not known them to still be hurting 6 days after ovulation is over though. That seems a bit strange to me. I doubt we will get our BFP this month as we BD 3 days before I ovulated so I really doubt pregnancy is the cause of it. And besides that, 6dpo is a little early to have symptoms anyway. But anyway have any of you had sore boobs so long after ovulation?

I'm also 6 dpo and my boob do not hurt My OH and I had sex 3 days before ovulation and on my ovulation day. And I dont have any pregnancy symptoms at all Very sad. This is also my first month of TTC like MindUtopia. I had slightly sore boobs during ovulation but it wasn't so noticable so maybe I just don't get sore boobs? I dont know.

I don't know if it's normal or not. This is our 5th month ttc, 3rd month with regular cycles, but I've not had this happen before. 7dpo today and they still hurt. I refuse to let DH anywhere near them because they are so tender to touch. They are normally like this when I O then they quit and start again a few days before AF.

Mine stay sore after ov till af. Its the estrogen surge I do beleve. I even go up half a cup size and get all round.
With my daughter my only symptom was car sickness at 2 weeks. And I drank a jar or salsa...ha

1st cycle for me boobs were sore from ovulation to AF, 2nd Cycle, theyve stopped being sore after O now just waiting for AF!! Diff every time i think!! xx

This cycle, my bbs started hurting at 8 dpo and hurt straight through to right now at 15 dpo. My temps are still high and getting higher. It's not normal for me, usually they hurt for a bit after ovulation and then get better before af comes. So needless to say I think I will be getting my bfp on Friday. Hope you get yours, too!

Thanks everyone for the responses. I thought maybe I was going crazy. My boobs aren't any bigger, they just hurt. I just couldn't remember ever having this before and was wondering if I was the only one that had. Always makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one.

same here, on the 1st cycle, temp went straight down at 8dpo and af appeared the day after, now they are staying up.......unsure of exact o date, could be sunday or tuesday.........argghh!!

ff recommending testing for me week sunday as it's not got enough cycles recorded yet to be 100% so I could be a day late, af on time tomorrow, or perhaps af not due for another week and a bit!!

oh well - keep on smiling eh?

It's still high but went down a bit. Today it's 36.8, yesterday 37.0, day before 36.8. So maybe it's not too significant but I also started an af-type backache this morning... so I'm a little worried I won't get my bfp after all. Maybe I just have a long luteal phase? This tww is a killer.

The only real symptom I had before I got my BFP last month (Before we sadly lost our little one shortly after) was sore breasts that stayed sore from ovulation all the way till I miscarried, so fingers crossed for you guys!xx

Totally agree with this! Convinced we'd done it last month as boobs were SO sore right from OV to AF like never before, but the witch showed right on time, almost to the hour. This month....NO sore boobs AT ALL, not bigger or anything which is also very unusual!! I'm not hopeful, but thats mainly cos i got so upset last month and I can't keep doing that everytime until I get my BFP.
Like they say.....you're always in with a chance til the witch shows!!

My temp spiked today. I promised myself I was only going to temp until I confirmed ovulation and then I'd stop until next cycle, but it's so hard to keep my hands off the therm in the mornings. The spike was a pleasant surprise, but my chart looked triphasic to me last month, so I'm still trying not to get too excited. Boobs are not as sore today either so who knows what's going on. I'm guessing I'm probably out this month.

mine have been sore from ov as well usually are not sore until 5 days before af... my test day is tmw the 18th so we will see if its a good sign!!!

Mine were sore from 1 dpo onward! I get sore nipples, but never sore breasts after O. This time, they've hurt like heck every day since. I'm 8 dpo today, and they're finally starting to hurt a little less... or maybe I'm just getting used to the pain However, normally I'm right around 7 dpo when they start hurting, so I don't know what to expect this month. Good luck ladies, I hope we all get our BFP's this month!!

ok - put in my temp this morning, it was lower than day before and day before that so was a bit concerned....but then ff changed my crosshairs from dotted to full on solid line and now it makes me 3 days late!??!? still just a bit of (sorry if TMI) dark brown coloured discharged at tip of cervix.....even stopped showing on toilet paper now, so that makes tinged toilet roll weds night, thurs morning, coloured cervical discharge weds/thurs/fri morning, sore bbs' no more and still cramping.....

omg - so confused as really really trying hard not to get hopes up - but wow, what a change in cycles from one month to the next, nature def try's to keep us guessing!!

off to doctors now for routine appt, will check in later to see everyone's updates for today!! xx

My BBS have been aching since suspected O also! Never had this right through, but every month I have an extra symptom and I think this is my month. I also have little white spots on my areola's, which I didn't have a clue what they were when I seen them and googled and it said early preggo sign!! how do I stop getting my hopes up tho
