Boss isn't happy about upcoming appointments!

Ok ladies here's the deal.. I have PCOS and I've been put on clomid... My OBGYN wants to check my levels to be sure I'm ovulating and my progesterone looks good..
So I have taken half of some work days off due to medical reasoning..

I am the ONLY office person at this franchise.. So it's just me and a branch manager that handles everything that comes in and out of the business...

So EVERYBODY there relies on ME! Only the owner knows how to do my job.. well a little but he can cover me but it won't be 100%

So I told him I have an upcoming appointment in 2 weeks.. He didn't seem very happy at all.. Knowing everything runs through me.. I had told him that me and my husband are looking to start a family.. I really couldn't tell because he's sometimes emotionless.. He did seem to happy about it..

Should I look for another job?
My husband tells me YES because it's a very stressful job because everybody relies on me to get stuff done..

Opinions?????

BTW I am an salary employee..

Either find something else or maybe your boss can hire someone hourly either part time or PRN that can learn your job enough to cover for you.
