Hello All,
On 27/12/13 I did second fetus review and in the review was seen: "flexor area of the bowel obstruction expanded 10.1 mm, echogenic colon" .
On 26/01/14 I did an ultrasound to digestive system of the fetus and was seen : flexor area of the bowel expanded 27 mm" all other finding are normal like: Amniotic fluid, heart, kidneys extra.
I was sent immediately to the hospital, they verify this findings and suspect of volvulus. Before pregnancy we did all the genetic tests and the finding were normal.
I was sent to repeat on genetic counseling, and another medical counseling to verify the diagnose of volvulus in another hospital.
I would like to know the consequence of the volvulus during pregnancy and what are the consequences after birth? Is the baby would have any problems?
Is there any way to know for sure if the bowel is colon or small intestine (I was seen by 4 professors and they not sure that this is 100% colon bowel)? Is there any intestinal necrosis on the fetus?

I would appreciate any help, because we have so many questions without answers,
Thanks in advance,
