Yesterday I went in to the doctor's for a baby checkup, last one was at 8 weeks so I figured i should go in now at 13 weeks. Here in Iraq is a bit different, no appointments, just go in when you want (when she's open) or when you're having trouble.

She did a sonogram, said the baby was ok and that its a BOY. Sister-in-law went with me and she got to see it too. I'll have to ask to see next time, the table i was on was not posisioned so i could see. (also got scolded for not eating enough, but the food here isn't very good. hope to get a care package from Mom this week)

He must have been showing off or something, but could also be the doctor has lots of experience. Waiting-room full of ladies everyday, and most ladies here have between 3 and 10 kids. I met one guy when I was here (in Iraq) as a soldier, he said he has 12 sisters.
