So I'm not pregnant, and I don't even know if we'll go for a third, but we had a discussion today and came to realise there are no boys names that we really like! And I've noticed a pattern with people who have one of each and go on to have a third, they nearly always have the same gender as their first! I'm convinced we'd have another boy.
We have a son, Seth, and a daughter, Elsie. If we had another girl there are so many names we like - Martha, Margot, Ivy, Iris, Edie (Edith), Florence, Audrey, Cora, Thora etc. I think this shows the sort of style we like, old people names that also sound quite modern now. There are no boy names we can think of in this sort of style that jump out at us. We quite like Stanley and Barney, but they're ruled out for various reasons. There are obvious older names like Archie, Fred etc but they're too common for our tastes.
Throw some boy names at me!
EDIT: a week after writing this we found out I was pregnant!!! So I may be needing these boy names after all!
