I really like Drake :flower:, It was a character of a little boy in a book i read, id never heard of it before reading the book . xx

Thank you for your thoughts so far :) I really like Drake but my family don't like it. I know I should go with what me and OH like but its hard isn't when you know others aren't so happy. Just don't know!

mommytobe1 - Dayne is a lovely suggestion, added to list :flower:

I like Dylan -- but not the other two options...

Some other nice "D" names: Donovan, Devin, Dawson, Dakota

I think Dylan is lovely. I'm not too keen on the others though.

i like drake, used to like dylan until when i was in hospital with the twins a little boy was born called dylan and he just looked odd! and had the longest hair i have ever seen for a newborn!! it literally was about 3 inches long! fickle reason for no longer liking it i know but i am a sod for name associations like that :haha: xx

I heard Dustin and Devon this morning that I hadnt heard for a while

I love Drake...I find the unusual ones depend on the surname x

i find this as well. more unusual first names sound better with more 'normal' surnames and 'normal' or more commonly used names sound well with 'normal' surnames but sound brilliant with unusual surnames. xx

oh and kinda quirky names that are different but not too out there sound good with all types of surnames you just gotta find ones that roll well together. xx

Damon is nice, but not spelt with a Y...not sure why it would need a 'Y'
Dylan is a lovely name, I would have considered it if it wasn't crazily popular round here
