I have always always been super close to my grandad, he is my hero! Unfortunatlyvrecently he has been quite ill. When i found out i was pregnant with our 1st i told my hubby if we had a boy i want his middle name to be my grandads name, its a very oldfashioned name and not many like it but its my grandads name an i want it! So lovely ladies what 1st name would go with Sidney as a middle name?!?

I like sidney for a girls first name 2 :)
For a boy :- James Sidney
Jacob Sidney
Harry Sidney
Just a few there's so many xxxx

Awwww, thats lovely hun xx And Sidney is a good name :) Im not so good with the names side of things but I didnt want to read and run xx You give me an idea and ill tell you if its good lol :) All the best hun xx

I like Sidney and my first thought was that James would go really well with it.

I think any of the more traditional names would sound good with it - Adam, Alasdair, Cameron?

Sidney is a lovely name :) .. And I think there are quite a lot of names that go with it :)

Jacob Sidney is a fav of mine <3 xx

Sidney was my dads and granfathers name:) love it..:thumbup::thumbup:

I think Sidney is a cute name and you could have it for a girl or boy too I know a girl (spelt Sydney) it's not common which is a bonus,my initial thought was James too ^ a nice strong name :flower:

James Sidney and Thomas Sidney .....

we to are using a grandads name as a middle name, its a lovely thought and makes it special. xx

I don't like James Sidney, because first name ends with the first letter of the middle name. It just kind of runs together in my head.
I do like Sidney James though, that sounds very strong and nice! I also like Jacob Sidney :)

That's a great middle name :)
My grandad died when I was 17 weeks pregnant. We're hoping to use his name, Arthur, as a middle name if we have a boy.

I love sidney and wanted it but husband doesn't. I wouldn't go for james sidney or especially sidney james due to the carry on actor.

Oscar sidney
Matthew sidney
Oliver sidney
Emmett sidney

I like emmett but people will think of twilight!

Sidney is a brill name. My grandads called Sidney and my husbands grandad was Sidney too! Go for it. XX
I fancy it as a middle name too although my grandad spells it Sydney XX
