Boys toddler haircuts

I need some help with a boys hair cut. I want a change for me little lad. Ive got a idea what i like. I like if it was shaved upto lets say top of ear then it longer over the head but not sure. Anyone got or know any good boys hair dos. This is what it likes like when he had it cut. He is getting it cut tomorrow as its been 8 weeks since this pic

Just ask for an undercut, and tell them to cut with scissors on the top, don't use the clippers.

Undercut maybe a bit dramatic, just ask for short back and sides and like a no 4 on top.

My LO's hair is quite a lot shorter than Zach's on top. They do the top with scissors. He has a wicked calf-lick though, so his fringe sticks straight up. He looks like Lewis off 'Meet the Robinson.' xx

This is what he got. His hair is shaved back and sides and longer at top for to be spiky. Cant really tell cus of how blonde his hair is
