Csection last tine so wouldnt know but OH thinks it's funny to wind me up about this and I am not happy he thinks it's a joke.

Can you control yourself?

LOL, I was talking to a colleague about this today. She was so worried about it before her first, but when you have your legs spread open, a team of people trying to get baby out and a watermelon trying to leave your body, she said that the last thing she was thinking about was other things happening.

My poor mother had diarrhea when she had my brother. I bug him about that all the time!

Trust me, you won't care

They have seen and heard it all.

V xxx

My OH pokes fun about this all the time too, he really does find it funny! But i was my sister's birthing partner and she never broke wind or pooped! so im hoping to follow her haha xx

I didnt break wind but I did poop with my first. Couldn't stop it as I was pushing and it just came with the pushes. Hubby didnt care and neither did I by that point.

I pooped with my 3rd. I knew I'd done it and didn't care. Lol! The midwives took it away so quickly, it was like it never happened. Believe me, the whole thing of pushing a baby out feels like you need the biggest poo of your life! Lol! I begged to be let go for a poo with my first natural birth....little did I know that is what it feels like when baby descends! Pmsl!

i had an epidural and gas and air when i was being stitched after my DD and i farted in the midwifes face!!!

thing was i was so off my face i burst out laughing and couldnt say sorry

felt soooo bad hubby still tells everyone and rips me now :dohh:

so i wouldnt worrie cant be any worse than what i did

I pooped when delivering my son. I felt the doctor clean me up, but it REALLY wasn't a concern in my head. I just wanted him OUT and if that involved a bit of pooping, so be it! :haha:

I kept tooting while in labor... the contractions kept pushing them out and I couldn't help it. I was giddy excited so was in really good mood and just laughed it off with everybody else. When they were placing the epidural, I let rip a looong one and it struck me as so funny that they almost couldn't put the epidural in at all because I couldn't stop giggling.:haha::haha:

LOL aley28! :haha:

mummyflanagan - The same thing happened to my friend. The OB bent down to check her and she let a giant one rip right in his face!

Seriously though - what you think you'll be embarrassed by now will change once you are in serious labour! xx

I can't imagine letting one go in the OB's face. Its something I worry about at every single pap smear, too. :haha:

Just tell him, that you probably will, but you will also probably vomit as well, and you will be sure to aim for him!

I pooped during labor, but could have cared less, and its the last thing on my mind this time...so many better things to focus on :)

i didnt poop well dont think i did i was begging the midwife not to let DH see me poo that she acctully help tissue over my bum just incase :/ i was screaming during contractions dont let chris see my pooooooooooooooooooooooooo lol madness x

LMAO! I'm really trying not to worry about this. If it happens, it happens. I will KILL DH if it does happen and he goes around telling people or even if he mentioned it to me afterwards. What goes on in labour room stays in labour room.

ha i like that idea like i said i dont think i did but thats what it feels like when ya baby is so low that u neeeed a huge poo :/ lol x

Yeah this worries me, especially pooping BUT like the others say we probably won't care at all. I hope that's the case, because right now I can't imagine not caring infront of all those people lol xx

Another thing I hadnt even thought about! ARRRGGHH something else to worry about lol :)

From my own experience, when you're there with your legs up it the air with someone looking up your fu-fu, it's the last thing that will worry you. I used to think the same and I'm sure that with my daughter I did a bit more than just break wind! (and I didn't care). Good luck for when the time comes xx

Fluffing and pooping will be the last thing on your mind so don't worry yourself xxxx
