Breast Feel like they're letting down milk

So the past week, I've had that tingly sensations in my breast like when milk lets down. Not as intense or painful but same sensation.
Anyone else have that going on? I don't recall this from my first pregnancy.
I know my milk ducts are developing & all now...maybe that's why....just hope I don't start to produce milk too early?!?!

I've been getting this too, it's so strange! Especially when out in public, I automatically want to hold them when it happens lol. I've leaked little bits of colostrum too but im just going with it... its all part of pregnancy and at least my body is getting ready to breastfeed early xx

I actually had that sensation before I got my BFP this time.. It was one of the things that convinced me I was pregnant. I've never leaked while pregnant though, some women leak a lot! It's all normal

With DD I didn't get that feeling at all till I was feeding her and started leaking around 16 weeks. With this one, I've had the feeling a few times but haven't leaked yet. Its kinda got me worried (silly I know as I'm so early) but I really hope I can feed this one.

I've had the feeling many times now. Especially when I get around other babies.

My doc said it's completely normal and likely has to do with the increased hormones I'm experiencing with my twins all around (although I also remember having the same sensations when I was pregnant with my son too).


Good news is it has nothing to do with milk production at birth either way.

I never had it in my pregnancies, but weirdly have it right now (100% not pregnant!). Must be some sorta hormonal thing.

My nipples have been very painful lately, tingling really badly and always erect. If I touch them or my clothes rub off them I let out a little yelp. As this is my first pregnancy I'm not sure if this is normal or not?

Yep- very normal apparently! I just got back from a check up at the hospital and I mentioned that to the specialist as I experience the same thing. It has gotten to the point where I have to wear a maternity bra to bed to stop them hurting so much (which has been successful). Anyway he said this is totally normal and very common. YAY for us! haha

Only after my first pregnancy did I have this feeling some times after Ovulation! It's strange. But yeah must be hormonal. I'm assuming smth to do with my milk ducts since they're supposed to be developing or smth now?

I'm so glad I saw this. I thought I was going mad. I keep getting it too. I keep checking to see if milk is spraying everywhere. I've had colostrum leaking for ages. My daughter self weaned when I first got pregnant. I wonder if that had anything to do with it.

Sarah, I've had some what looks like colostrum just crusts of it on my nipple. Made me wonder lol. It may have been some part to do with your weaning as you got pregnant.
