It's what is best for you. As long as baby is fed that's all that matters. I formula fed my son, but I'm still nursing dd and will be tandem nursing when my little man arrives. Both my son and daughter are healthy and happy even though they were fed differently. I'd keep an open mind. I planned to breastfeed my son but he was so ill after he was born that he was in an incubator for weeks so it didn't work out and I was devastated as I had my heart set on it. Things don't always go to plan. So maybe prepare for both and just see how it goes after baby arrives
