Breast pain??

Hi For past couple months I have been suffering sore boobs most days. it can vary between a throbbing, a light burning sensation and just tender. i don't understand why as i am not on anything like the pill/implant or anything that can affect them or cause this, i am not pregnant, not breastfeeding and not on any medication.

right now it is between a throbbing/light burning pain close to the nipple areas. (but it can be other parts too)

anyone know why this may be? don't really want to go to the doctors unless i really have to.

I have been getting this since august.In september I went to the gp and got refferred to the breast clinic where I was examined and scanned.There was nothing to see so I was discharged but its still happening.I described it as someone heating up a hot poker and stabbing it into my breast.
I intend to go back if it keeps happening.
I would go just to put your mind at rest.

I just don't do doctors unless its absolute nessisery. I get very very nervous about the thought of having to show my boobs to a doctor lol plus most of the time it's a waste of time as they just send you away and do nothing.

did they not give you an explanation?

I dont do doctors either,last time I went was when pregnant 4 yrs ago,up until the breast pain.Some things are important though and if my daughter had this problem I would be telling her to go.

They gave my a leaflet about 'unexplained breast pain' and a chart to fill in to look for a pattern,but as it is nearly everyday there is no pattern emerging.I keep feeling for changes but at least I know I have been scanned.
I was nervous but then I was in a specialist breast clinic where they see all kinds of boobs and I thought mine cant be the worst they have seen lol.

Lol yeah theres no change other than boob tenderness. don't know if its just hormoans? as I also still have spd and apparently that is down to hormoans lol.

I am having all the bad parts of pregnancy expect im not lol.

I have this, exactly the same. I went to the doctor to get examined and he told me it is caused by intercostal muscle strain (basically the muscles behind your boobs). It ranges from a dull ache to very painful, when it's bad it's like being stabbed with a hot needle through the nipple right to my back.
My sister has costochondritis and said the pain is very similar for her.

I would still get checked if you're worried but if it's caused by the same thing then an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen should help
