Could some one pls help?

I neeed more sleep so am planning to give hima formula feed tonight. SMA gold. Is it wise or is it more likely that he'll have a bad reaction to it? If so what reaction?

He's taken well to being fed bottle breast milk. He's 2 weeks 6 days.

My baby was fine when he got his first bottle, the only thing is he didn't drink from the bottle the first time we tried it but he got the hang of it the second time. (5 wks old.)

How long do you get between feeds? Is there a long enough gap for you to try expressing? This way you wouldn't wake up with massively full leaky boobs.

He's not forced to have any kind of reaction to it. :)

I do the same, as I just couldn't express enough out for this feed and she was never satified before bed, we found Aptimal or Aptimal comfort the best, alledgley closer to breastmilk

I have started giving Caine 2 oz a night of formula now at his last feed (he has breast, then 4oz EBM and then 2oz formula) helps him sleep longer * 5 or 6 hours now * YIPPE and no probs at all with it. Just wind them well xxx

Can't see he would have a reaction to it. The only thing I can pass on that I was told by HV is that SMA is very rich so he may not take it

I use cow and gate for alexs feed and he hasn't had any reaction to it

Isobel has had two bottles in 24hours since she was born, and has never had a problem going between the two. We started on cartons of apatmil... then swapped to aptamil easy digest. Her two bottles are last thing at night and first thing in morning (3am onwards). Never had a problem other than colic...
