Have any of you ever had one??

So basically I have been having breast pain in my left breast and left armpit for 2 months straight now. My right breast has no pain. I had my ob check and she said she doesn't feel any lumps, but did feel thickening. So she wanted me to schedule a breast ultrasound to see what is causing the pain and because you can never be too sure when it comes to cancer.

I'm freaking out. I have horrible anxiety as it is and I am a hypochondriac so I am already assuming it's the big C.:cry::cry:

I had one years ago, it's exactly like the ones you get on your belly for pregnancy. In my case they found a harmless fat lump that resolved itself. Your doctor would have probably found lumps if it was cancer, you'll just feel better once it's done and know there's nothing wrong.

I had one when dd was about 6 months plus a biopsy after finding a lump. It was diagnosed as a fatty lump of tissue too however it hasn't gone away but also hasn't got any larger

I wouldnt worry hun shes probs wanting to check to see if u have a clogged milk duct xx

I'm glad they're looking into it, you can never be too cautious. Hopefully it brings you some peace of mind.

I have had about six of them on my left breast. I've had a lump for about 4 years that they re-ultrasound every 6 months. They biopsied it twice now and believe it is benign, but I was going to have it removed this February, then found out I was pregnant 3 weeks before surgery. My doctor said it was fine to wait to remove it til after I give birth, and now while pregnant it has completely disappeared.

My lump was being fed by the hormones in my birth control, I'm pretty sure, which is why it has disappeared now.

The pain could just be pregnancy-related, so I hope it's that and nothing worse. And there are all kinds of non-cancerous lumps, so try not to freak out if they do find any lump.

Good luck!

Lumps and bumps are very common with hormone changes associated with pregnancy and periods etc. I found a lump before having DS and was absolutely terrified but is disappearrd on its own 2 weeks later. Good luck try not to panic x

Thanks ladies
I wanted to update you all. Basically they said a lymph node in my armpit is "puffy" but doesn't worry them. They also looked at the breast tissue in both breasts and said they look the same other than the swollen puffy lymph node in my left armpit. She said there is really nothing I can do. Typically they would recommend ibuprofen for the pain but since I'm pregnant I can't have that.

She then told me unless anything new comes up I don't have to return until I'm 40! ( I'm currently 25)

I think on one of your earlier posts I said it might be a swollen lymph node, I was right :happydance: I had a lymph node biopsy from my armpit a few years ago and ever since it gets sore from time to time and the pain sometimes feels like its in my breast. A lot of things can cause them to swell. Glad it's not the big C
